If I PM'd someone else @imitual then can that guy Richard see who I am PM'ing. I understand that guy Richard wouldn't be able to see the content of the PM but can that guy Richard see that a PM has been sent from me, AAAlphaThunder, to her?

that guy Richard wouldn't be able to see the content of the PM
What makes you believe that? I'd imagine Richard can access anything in the database, but wouldn't expect him to check member PMs without a good reason.

Why would anyone want to hide a PM from Richard seeing it? Unless perhaps they were intending to harass someone and were afraid of getting a ban. I do not see any reason to want to hide a PM from the owner seeing it. I also would imagine that anything in the database can be seen if necessary. Who knows when someone might need to garner evidence of a crime?
The thing I find strange is, Richard reads the forum. So why would you want to publish evidence of intended activity that you want to keep hidden from him?

And when you work full time then part time running imutual do you have the time to read the PM's even if you wanted to? I am guessing even Richard has to sleep sometime
Keep smiling because the light at the end of someone's tunnel may be you, Ron Cheneler

I think there is an extension that a forum owner can use which does encrypt PMs, but I don't know if it encrypts to the point that they can't be decrypted by the same extension. I also don't know if Richard has implemented any such extension.
I would therefore assume that Richard can read PMs if he really wants to.
Also, why the bold 'that guy' stuff?

Good housekeeping. Keeps things fresh and up to date and gets rid of all the dross and unnecessary posts.
