Hello to all

Post by Black Pearl » Mon Sep 29 2014 8:10pm

Hi, joint in last few days and I am impressed with the level of offers available.
Used early today for the first time in anger to buy fibre broadband from
Plusnet, so far it has not tracked but hopefully it will appear soon.
Look forward to making much more use of the site in coming weeks/months.

Welcome

Plusnet is a guaranteed cashback merchant so if it does not track within 7 days you should submit a claim

You can see whether imutual noted you going through to the merchant here http://www.imutual.co.uk/history

Well guess it was too good to be true ...... should have suspected given the rate was a lot higher than anyone else at the time.
PlusNet claim did not track (I definitely used this site and link to visit on 29th September) and claim rejected.
Totally dejected at this (and it was a guaranteed cashback merchant to boot).
Guess it's back to Quidco or Topcash back as I never had any issues with these in the past.

Why was it rejected? it should not have been providing the fact that you went through imutual is shown here http://www.imutual.co.uk/history and you still have a right of appeal to the membership.

Yes it shows up on history list as expected.
Claim made early today (7 days after transaction failed to track as required)
Claim rejected with following details

** 6 Oct **
We are currently investigating your claim.
Please allow up to 80 days for this to be resolved, as we often have to refer these details to third parties to investigate on our behalf.
Thank you for your patience.

** 6 Oct **
The merchant has rejected your enquiry, due to the sale being attributed to another website or marketing channel. For further explanation, please see http://www.imutual.co.uk/help/14/1086/

Unfortunately we have not received commission for this transaction and will therefore be unable to award cashback on this occasion.

Unless you can provide any further evidence to contradict the reason given for rejection, we cannot pursue this claim any further with the merchant, but we do monitor the performance of our merchants in responding to claims and, where appropriate, we will remove them from our site

For further information, see http://www.imutual.co.uk/help/14/1021/

APPEALS

Note that if you still believe this claim should be verified, you can appeal directly to our members. See http://www.imutual.co.uk/help/14/1537/

I never used any other channel to visit site on the 29th September only imutual - hence it showing up in history
