When I moved to this area, the local "Art Club" had a permanent exhibition and we bought some botanical illustrations and "Turneresque" wash views of the Deben at very good prices. I still love them.

Then, on a trip to Southwold, we went into a gallery and there was a watercolour of a Mallard, which now has pride of place in my lounge.

Together with a couple of auction finds, French botanical illustration prints bought on the rive gauche back in the 80s and C18th hand-coloured architectural prints bought from a friend in Provence, that's my "collection"
