The UK has had 25 governments since 1945. Italy has had, I think the count is now up to 67.

Carlo Cottarelli is forming a government. Given the opposition of 5 Star and the League, who are both really pissed off at the moment, it has been suggested that there will be new elections as early as August. So 68 by the end of this year.

Unfortunately Italy cannot just print money to get out of debt like the UK has done in the past...
