any sign of any incentives?
None that I'm aware of, sorry; probably more likely later next year, after the signups from advertising have trailed off.

...but i'm less optimistic of getting an account open than i was.
they are rejecting my ID - which i don't understand. they've had Driving Licence, Passport and a Bank Statement, but keep saying that is is 'out of date' or 'unclear' or 'not what we have asked for'.

i've now managed to speak to someone who's told me that they need the reverse of my driving licence in addition to banks statements and the front side of it.. once up & running, what is needed to transfer from the linked account, just Sort Code & Account Number? do we need a debit card to set up the link?

Post Office Money Online Saver issue 34 is only 0.05% less interest (and both are promotional rates) so I'm not rushing to try Marcus yet... happy to wait all 2019 for a better deal!

fair enough Sarah... i'm planning to have the GS stoozepot linked to Lloyds, with the total generating 1.5% safely. not much else in cash though, other than RegSavs building up, BS bags and the TSB£1500. the rest is funnelling into S&S ISAs and Friendly Society WP funds. that said, the stoozing is steadily whittling down. before too long it will all be our own money
