the new branch in Birmingham is now open.
I have been in to check their rates, but nothing appealing, and no incentives for moving accounts to them.
I think you will be pleasantly surprised with the back to the future face to face service and a seven day access that fit with peoples busy lives. The in branch storage boxes are a great idea as well...

are they reasonable money Boro?
and yes, i'm up for the service, but really want some kind of incentive to transfer 4/5/6 accounts to them.

Not the best rates in the world, but not the worst either; but you are missing the point: you can't pay enough for good service. Try calling Amazon, British Gas etc. if you want to see what the opposite of good service is! ;)

Up to you if you want to change; on that basis the only advantage is I think you will find the Metro Bank branches are open longer and more days a week...

that sounds good.. for my Halifax/M&S/TSB accounts when there is an incentive to get me across.
HSBC/Lloyds/RBS/Nationwide i plan to keep open alongside.

With the problem chairman removed and reasonable growth this may be an opportunity for a speculative share purchase as their price may have fallen more than justified; it my be that they are being dragged down with the general market turmoil. They may now be attract as a take over target or it may be worthwhile to jump on board before any possible turn around - I know I personally have made money on purchases in the past under similar circumstances... worth a ponder at least!

I can't remember the last time I went into a bank branch. And I can't imagine the next time I'll need to. So I just can't see this company being anything other than toast, long term.
