i'm not sure about that. £50 has arrived from them this morning.
but i'm simplifying my finances over time.. Pension, FSP & ISA contributions absorbing my cash, along with building up a balance in my company. Cash/PB saving is fazing out for me.

Excellent that you have goals, a plan and are abiding by it.

a couple of £1m prizes and then the rest are £25s nowadays, is that right?
i've received £25 from each of the past two draws.
i'm planning to cash in during December, unless i win a mill from them, or a large win on the lottery.

No, that's not right!

There are still a wide range of different prizes in-between those - from £50 up to £100,000!

https://www.nsandi.com/prize-checker?ta ... panel=tab2

I last won £25 in January and have had fairly poor returns in recent years - certainly no prizes over £25 or bumper years since their records went digital in 2015. On the other hand, could do worse than top-up now after this news they're holding the fund rate.

The 1% Direct Saver from NS&I will also remain better than many variable rate accounts, but isn't the best available, e.g. Marcus/Saga will still be higher even after they cut to 1.20% for existing customers on 7 May.

Their bond rate cuts are still going ahead and quite sharp on some already unattractive rates, e.g. I recently opened an account at 1.65% for 2 years with Ford Money, whilst NS&I will drop from 1.45% to 1.20% next month!

oh yes, seen, thank you Sarah.
I have a Direct Saver with a couple of pounds in.
local Co-ops are paying 2%+ so i don't bother with accounts paying less, other than to retain membership of mutuals.

can someone withdraw money on 1st, on the basis that they have held the PBs for the whole of the previous month, so will be included in the draw for that month?

I would've thought so, but that's not in the FAQ.

May's high value winners list is already up!
