Boris aka Dominic Cummins found a few magic money trees. Labour of course found a whole forest of them.
Actually it makes sense to borrow now at low interest rates for needed infrastructure things. HR2 is not one of them IMHO it will not help the most in need of work in the north and will bring more workers to London

If we need to borrow for infrastructure then yes it's a good time with low interest rates.
