Motorists who need to change the address on their V5C vehicle log book can now go online to update their details, rather than sending the paper form back to Swansea.

The DVLA says this cuts the time to receive a new log book from six weeks to five days.

I'm surprised they were not doing this all ready, in fact, I don't see the need for a paper Log book anymore really.

It's nice to have a piece of paper confirming ownership.

But it does not confirm ownership, does it? It just confirms that you are the registered keeper.

I'm sure someone will be able to link this to COVID-19 soon...... the electrons from the site lower your resistance to the virus or something.

After all, it's well known that listening to Radio4 increases the risk of infection.... after all, many pensioners listen to Radio4 and statistics show the over 70s to be most liable to serious infection. So, ipso facto, it's Radio4 causing it. Stands to reason, dunnit?!!
