Thank you, but "Oh no! You didn’t win this time"

Looks like it is just one entry for the whole period of the competition.

Yeah, 1 quick spin really isn't much fun!

Perhaps they'll run the promotion again next month so that we can enjoy another few seconds of thrills!

1000 points (=£5) for opening Sainsbury bank bonus websaver with minimum deposit of £1000. Must leave for 30 days to qualify for points.

Seems to be an instant access account. Interest 4.5% made up of 3.5% standard (variable) plus 1% bonus for first year.

Must open by 14 Feb and fund within 30 days.

That's a little surprising considering their recent announcement that they'll be exiting the banking sector.

They apparently have 1.9 million customers. Perhaps they want 2 million before selling up!

I don't see the 1000 points offer on the Nectar or Sainsbury's Bank websites. They're promoting life insurance and travel money to me.

I received the offer by email but it's also in my offers on the Nectar website.

Change in value of Avios
Martin Lewis has warned to ‘do it now’ over a big change to Nectar points coming within weeks – and he has explained how to avoid losing out. The ITV The Martin Lewis Money Show star and BBC Sounds podcast host says shoppers who convert their Avios points to spend at Sainsbury's or Argos will soon see the value of their points slashed.

The Avios reward scheme allows travellers to earn points towards buying flights, upgrades and hotel stays. You can collect Avios points by signing up with one of these frequent flyer clubs: AerClub, British Airways Executive Club, Iberia Plus, Vueling Club.

"Got Avios points? Currently to buy 400 Nectar pts you need 300 Avios, from 11 March British Airways changing it so same'll cost 400 Avios. Eg 1,200 Avios now worth £8 in Sainsburys, it'll then be just £6. So if you plan to swap do it now (Nectar to Avios rate isn't changing)," he wrote.

Anyone else seeing some data sharing within Nectar?

The offers on the two cards in my household are now remarkably similar, including a free Shopmium(?) item that I definitely only bought once. That's nectar price on both cards. As is Illy coffee, which I redeemed on CSM from purchases at Asda.

There are other explanations, of course, that the offers would appeal to "people like me".

I only operate 1 account, so can't comment on plausible data sharing between related accounts. My offers have always been mostly items that I've previously purchased, even if sometimes only once. So much so that I'll occasionally choose to buy a specific own brand item in Sainsbury's for the quite often successful possibility that doing so can begin a run of regular Nectar offers on that product.
