anyone coming up with ideas re where to move our M&S accounts to?
I think First Direct (£100) and Virgin Money (wine) are the only switch bonus offers still active from major banks right now.

Recently moved from M&S to First Direct, and £100 credited to my account about 2 weeks after I paid in £1,000.

I had some direct debits, so switched mine out to another bank where I wanted those to go. The monthly saver closed automatically at the same time. Unfortunately, the Nationwide switch offer arrived just a little too late to be convenient for my M&S exit.

i received my final statement today, which shows that my balance has been “transferred”,
but it should mean, and I hope, is that they’re sending me a cheque for that balance. transferred suggests it’s been passed directly to another account to me.
