i think when I’ve guided folks to fill up Ron and Sarah’s allocations it would be courteous to do the same.

yes Sarah.. I clicked through their portfolio construction tool, which is pretty slick in fairness, and came up with a portfolio which included 5% Gold and 5% Silver. for a small total value though, i thought it more appropriate to pick something that is more of a punt. i have some physical silver, but very little exposure to silver mining and nothing in silver ETFs etc, and i think there’s potential for silver to make a significant move at some point in the next couple of years.

For this reason, I think the etiquette should be to do 4 referrals and then move on, in case users chase the same 5th referral and one misses out.

I'm sure we've all got someone we know off the site who can pick up the 5th referral. (Mrs ParchedPeas has dozens of these things she's never even heard of!)

Happy to go with whatever the thread decides though.

Everything. So you should see your £100 plus the new user £50 plus the referral of £25, making a nice total of £175.
