I've not fully joined yet, still in the waiting room to get in to their 1.5% account. Yes, a bit of a faff waiting and waiting to get a new account, could be 3 - 5 weeks I've heard. Nothing like walking in to a branch on the high street and getting one there and then.

Does any one have a £20 referral code that I can use? Referrals stop as of tonight 07/06/22, but as I joined 6 days ago it says I can still use a referral even though I didn't flag it up at the start of my application.
First to reply, will get £20 added at some stage in to their account I assume.

Nutmeg investment transfer offer currently being promoted to Chase customers, although it doesn't appear to be exclusive. Looks like it's also available to both new and existing Nutmeg customers.

Just renewed my TV Licence using the Chase debit card; glad to see it's not excluded from cashback.

This is welcome, but they've been kinda slow and fallen behind some competitors even after this takes effect.
Good news – we're increasing the Chase saver account interest rate from 1.5% AER (1.49% gross) variable to 2.1% AER (2.08% gross) variable, effective from 24 October 2022.

1% current account interest starts on Monday.
We got in touch a little while ago to let you know about current account interest. The good news is that it's arriving on 24 April 2023.

It means you'll earn 1% AER interest on the money you have in your Chase current account. We'll calculate your interest daily – based on your current account balance – and we'll pay it at the beginning of the following month.

There's nothing you need to do. There are no fees from us or minimum monthly deposits to worry about, and you can pay in as much money as you like. Plus, if you have more than one current account with us, each will earn interest.

"We've joined the Current Account Switch Service"
Good news: you can now move your current account from another bank or building society to us, using the Current Account Switch Service.

How it works
  • It takes 7 working days
  • We'll move your regular payments, Direct Debits and standing orders
  • It's free, and you can set it up for a day that suits you, up to 30 days in advance
  • We'll move your balance and planned payments for you, and ask your old bank to close your account
Just so you know, you can't take out an overdraft, pay in cash or cheques, or make international payments from your Chase current account.
Okay, great. Please bring on the switching incentives!
