RBS £150 switch & stay

Post by Sarah » Wed Oct 06 2021 6:12am

This is a somewhat convoluted offer with multiple things you have to do to satisfy the qualification criteria and split payment dates through to November next year!

If you’ve had any cash back for switching to us (or NatWest/Ulster Bank) since October 2017, you won’t be eligible for this offer.

NatWest offer £200 now:
https://www.natwest.com/current-account ... EF-Default

They've simplified the qualifying criteria too:
Apply online or via our mobile app to switch a current account held elsewhere into a NatWest account from 14th February 2023 to receive our offer of £200.

Deposit £1,250 into your account and log into our mobile banking app within 60 days. App eligibility criteria apply.

When you meet these conditions we’ll pay £200 into your eligible account within 7 days.
Not eligible if you've previously received a cash switcher offer since 1st October 2017:

It's open to existing customers too; there are some similar but separate T&Cs for them (see section 2).

I don't know, sorry; not familiar with it. Branding usually matters within a group; however a quick search seems to suggest that Child & Co no longer exists. Did it rebrand? Do you have a legacy Child & Co account? If so, you're probably best placed to know the answer!

They are running the same offer for RBS accounts:

The only branch of Child & Co closed in 2022 When it was owned by RBS/Nat West. The Royal Bank of Scotland incorporating Child & Co

The company itself was dissolved in August 2015

i suppose it's considered a legacy account then.. all still Child&Co-branded, with a new card arriving recently, along with statements. i am transferring my existing TSB account to C&C[NatWest] and opting not to close the TSB account.

the offers seem to be separate.. i wonder can we bag both an RBS and a NatWest promotion

you seem certain Sarah, so fair enough. i've had a text to say that my 'old bank' has provided details of my Regular Payments and Direct Debit instructions.. so seems to be on.
