Just done the same; merged all accounts into the latest one, although I have to wait 1 working day to withdraw due to updating the link details. Now expecting the usual deluge of auto-generated letters to follow...

ah ok.. i merged all into the one that was linked to my Lloyds account, as that is where i wanted the proceeds to go, and then emptied/closed that one. the end of a little stoozing era.
