Thanks Sarah. I did receive £25 a week or so ago for a referral but I didn't know who had used it. I've been away on holiday and not been online so hadn't seen this tread.

Vanquis is designed for those with a poor credit record and can be used to build a better credit score. But as you say crippling rates of interest so if you have a poor credit record buy a little on it and pay it off every month.

I took advantage of this offer a few years back and used it once to get the Amazon top up and then went back to Natwest Reward card. Only 0.5% but better than the nothing I would get on Vanquis lol. Thankfully do not need to rebuild my credit score
