those four accounts all have 20T for this month. May-Oct: so two more months of transactions to go.
i'll have wrapped up monthly spends on these 4 S&S accounts this month, so once they've paid out £5s in November, i'll have 5 accounts ready to move/close. existing providers would be fine, ref Lloyds and Nationwide threads.
i don't think i'll bother with further S&S accounts just for the monthly £5s. combined with an incentive it's worthwhile, but current offers aren't very appealing, and Quidco don't pay out / push TSB on behalf of customers.

TSB cs continues to be desperately poor ime.
i'll be glad when my 'Main' account switches to Co-operative Bank, who surely can't be any worse.
transfers between TSB accounts weren't going through earlier, and trying to speak to someone with a basic understanding of their systems was a big ask for them

I never speak to TSB. Have you withdrawn from NS&I recently? I seem to have been flagged/blocked. I can still deposit, but not withdraw.

i find them nice but poor on the phone, and sometimes nice but also poor in-branch.
i haven't withdrawn from NS&I: i just keep reaching £100 or £200 in my DS and transferring it into PBs.

I've considered doing that too; don't know yet whether or not internal transfers are also blocked.
Might as well wait until near the end of the month, with deposits earning a respectable 4.0% in the meantime.

what date in the month do you have to buy the PBs though? i may be out of date, but i think it was mid-month for them to be entered in the following month's draw.

It's much later than that when buying online. They can be purchased very close to end of the month, but never enter the next month's draw; first entry is the month after that. Only automatically reinvested prizes enter the draw without waiting a month.

I was blocked from transferring Direct Saver funds to Premium Bonds, as well as making withdrawals, so had to call NS&I. It turns out the problem was just some mail having been inexplicably returned to them undelivered, so they required me to re-confirm my correct address.
