"To get the £75, you must have done the following by the 30th day after your switch completes:
deposit £1,000 or more
* have two or more active Direct Debits
* make ten or more card or digital wallet transactions (pending transactions will not count)
* register for our online banking services or mobile app
* set up the debit card in a digital wallet (Apple Pay, Samsung Wallet or Google Pay)."
i've just completed the final criterion, registering with Apple Pay, which i wouldn't ordinarily have done. i like to use physical credit/debit cards.

i've spoken too soon re Co-op having to be better than TSB in terms of cs. they're awful.
Couldn't get through to set up a new online password, as requested. Eventually got through and then cut off, repeatedly. Even when you do speak to someone the line is usually terrible, and the attitude of the staff is disinterested and unhelpful. Had to call re transfer to my Lloyds account being blocked by the fraud department. Had to call re a 95p purchase of a bottle of water being blocked by the fraud department. i've made Eight 20m+ calls to them across Thursday, Friday and Today.

I received the initial £75 a couple of days ago. There was also an e-mail the same day, which appears to indicate that the follow-up £25 monthly offers start from the next day (not aligned with calendar months).

a member of staff at the branch has confirmed that i've qualified for the first £75.
the second £75 requires £1000 transfer and 10 transactions during each of December and January.
they've just told me they'll credit my account with £30 compensation ref the above too.

I've just applied online for this switch, using a Santander "spare" account I have. Hopefully all will go through ok. Time will tell.
Does any of the switch process have to be done over the phone - I see planteria had to ring them to set uo an online password.

I didn't need to call them at all, but already had another account.

the sticker on the debit card guided me to do so MrsXfile, but i wouldn't do it again - sorted it as part of a branch visit.
