I bought an item online yesterday but no cashback. So phoned the company and the lady I spoke to did not get cashback so told her about imutual. She asked me towards the end of the conversation the name of the site again. We can get new members if we push it hard enough to enough people.
Bless you but the single member addition here and there is not going to make much of a difference... at some stage an advertising campaign needs to be thought about and constructed.

Perhaps a (paid) intern to work on the social media profile? A 3 month initial contract costing, say £5k would provide an inexpensive way to see whether more activity on twitbook and instaface generates revenue-earning members.

Indeed. It boils down to how much Richard is willing to pay to make his little baby a success.

"imutual expects to gain over one million shareholder members in its first three years, courtesy of its unique free share offer."
OH WOW someome makes a prediction about the future and gets it wrong :!:
Shock horror Bit like all the doomsayers who said that a vote for Brexit would be a disaster, WRONG
We are not out yet but our shopping bill is far bigger now for the same amount of stuff. One item that was 99p for a long time before the referendum is now £1.15 and that is just one thing that has jumped in price despite the supermarket price war that is costing suppliers dear. A chicken factory closed in Essex very recently as they had to cut costs and so moving that work to another factory.
And in your own industry cafes independent and chain are closing at a much faster rate as people cannot afford to eat out as often.

It's still off topic. Let's all leave Brexit discussion to more appropriate threads and keep this thread to discussion of the business we all own.

Is there a thread within the forums that is not off topic and does it matter?

What used to cost me £100 now costs me closer to £110. And we haven't even left yet.
