To Repeat No! I only highlight what I believe to be a racist comment that happened to have been made by a Labour Peer about a National Disaster... I would appreciate it if you did not twist my obvious and highlighted words and persisting to do so will only make a fool of you!
What she said is not racist stop making stuff up. :shh:
Here's that quote again as it seems you did not read it; Baroness Lawrence says she believes a crucial element of Race is not being mentioned; she said "...when I saw the residents who lived in that block, to me I was under no doubt around the racism that existed at that time because I think had that been a block full of white people in there then they (London Fire Brigade) would have done everything to get them out as fast as possible and make sure that they did what they needed to do."

I find these comments diabolical - if they are right then I think it is horrifying and something should be done about it! but the first stage of the report, now issued would have highlighted any racist element so it would seem the Baroness Lawrence is wrong and these racist comments are only used to taint our brave firefighters who risked their own lives to rescue people.

I can't see anything here that has been "made up" so what are you trying to twist?
Definition of racism;

The belief that race accounts for differences in human character or ability and that a particular race is superior to others.

She's made no comment on the race of the firefighters now if she said something along the lines of "if the firefighters were all black they would have done a much better job than the white firefighters" this would be a racist comment, she's making the ALLEGATION that the tactics were based on racism, pretty important distinction.

Again stop making stuff up.

To reduce to its very simplest, Baroness Lawrence is accusing the LFB of racism in its response to Grenfell. Is that of itself racist? I don't think so.

Is Baroness Lawrence mistaken? Quite possibly: media reports of the Grenfell enquiry have made no reference to racism in the actions of LFB.

And to be clear, despite Mr Boro Boy's attempt to twist her words there is no slur against individual firefighters.
Channel 4 news wrote:Her comments were targeted at the authorities and not at any individual.

And we know how much Mr Boro Boy dislikes people's words being twisted.

Its not the race of the firefighters... how did you interpret that from the text??? she alleged that had the residents of the block been white then the tactics of the firefighters would have been different. Did you not understand that or do you think if you continually batter the entry with a twisted response you will eventually become right!?!

Baroness Lawrence said: "...I think had that been a block full of white people in there then they (London Fire Brigade) would have done everything to get them out as fast as possible..."

Definition of being Racist:
a person who is prejudiced against or antagonistic towards people on the basis of their membership of a particular racial or ethnic group...

Using that definition Baroness Lawrence's comments are racist and antagonistic towards our brave firefighters who risked their lives to rescue people that day.

Yet again, her criticism is not based on the race OF THE FIREFIGHTERS nor has she said anything about one race being superior to another, her comments are not racist and you are the only person who says so dont believe me? Do a google search.

From the petition demanding she apologise for her comments;

A subsequent petition demanding she apologise has so far collected almost 35,000 signatures. It claims Baroness Lawrence’s remarks were defamatory towards the ‘brave men and women of London fire brigade’. It adds: ‘At great risk to themselves, they saved many lives which would have been lost without their intervention.’ The petition even claims that Baroness Lawrence should have her ‘honour removed’ and she should be ‘barred from public office’.

No mention of her being racist...funny that. By your definition anybody who makes an allegation of racism against an individual/group is themselves racist, that is so illogical even the daily mail would blush. :problem:

What an amazing twist..!!! "By your definition..." How on earth did you work that one out? Forgive me for asking but is English your second language as that would explain how you have misinterpreted my comments of Baroness Lawrence.

Facts my good sir, you are the only doing any twisting here simply repeating the lie does not make it the truth. My nationality is none of your business but I'm not surprised you'd resort to personal attacks as you have no argument to make.

No twisting, No personal attack, just asked what you don't understand about this:
Baroness Lawrence said: "...I think had that been a block full of white people in there then they (London Fire Brigade) would have done everything to get them out as fast as possible..."
