Look at the figures .No masks in shops , the R value was below 1 and cases were dropping . Pubs and restaurants opened , the R value has shot up and cases are increasing. -----Pubs and restaurants need to be shut IMMEDIATELY .

Home secretary admits she doesn't know how many people with COVID-19 are entering UK. ---- Ms Patel denied she had never asked for the information, and then said the latest estimate was 0.5% of travellers. -"On a daily basis, the number of people coming into the country is approximately 50,000 people" - I MAKE THAT 250 PER DAY coming into the country with Coronavirus. https://news.sky.com/story/coronavirus- ... k-12029153

Where is your evidence that the 'R value has shot up?'

UK halts daily Covid-19 death updates over possible ‘distortions’ of daily mortality rate
https://www.rt.com/uk/495166-uk-halts-c ... tgcvKXAeD4
"any person who has tested positive but was successfully treated and sent back home, "will still be counted as a Covid death, even if they had a heart attack or were run over by a bus three months later."

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Secretary of State has today, 17 July, asked PHE to urgently review their estimation of daily death statistics. Currently the daily deaths measure counts all people who have tested positive for coronavirus and since died, with no cut-off between time of testing and date of death. There have been claims that the lack of cut-off may distort the current daily deaths number. We are therefore pausing the publication of the daily figure while this is resolved. https://www.gov.uk/guidance/coronavirus ... the-public

... and remember, figures for the UK can't be compared to those from elsewhere - even though that seemed perfectly all right until the UK surpassed Italy and Spain.

Imagine the comments if Bolsonaro suppressed the figures..... or any other country.

If there is a possible distortion, this diistortion can be assessed... and then we know the level of confidence in the numbers provided. The claim being made is like saying that you can't trust any figures on the number of people who die after taking strychnine, because some may also have consumed other things.

Coronavirus: Oxford vaccine triggers immune response

A coronavirus vaccine developed by the University of Oxford appears safe and triggers an immune response.

Trials involving 1,077 people showed the injection led to them making antibodies and T-cells that can fight coronavirus.

The findings are hugely promising, but it is still too soon to know if this is enough to offer protection and larger trials are under way.

The UK has already ordered 100 million doses of the vaccine.
Moving in the right direction. Well done University of Oxford.

And you can attend the Govt. briefings as long as you say the right things or you refuse to answer questions as they would be involving you in politics:

So, a government headed up by Johnson and Cummings is massaging the figures, making false claims and suppressing the truth. Par for the course....

In Manchester, you can be sacked for refusing to go and sit with someone in an office, fined £100 for sitting with them at home, and given a money-off deal to sit with them in a busy restaurant.
