From 1 June, childminders can look after children of all ages, in line with usual limits on the number of children they can care for.
Why can a 55 year old childminder look after someone elses children, but not their 50 year old grandparents ?

Because we are getting the economy back up and running.

I read an FT article the other day that developing economies, especially in Africa, are poised to recover much faster than developed nations. I for one don't want to get left behind.

Unless your child is autistic. Then you can ignore all the rules and take the child anywhere you like.

Why should it be dead...just because somebody does something inadvisable what gives another person the right to do the same? Responsibility for your actions is yours alone.

I presume that you are taliking about my claim that the lockdown is dead, if Cummings remains in place (always a good idea to link your reply). If so, I do not believe for one moment that you are actually naive enough to equate Cummings with any "normal person", or not to see the damage that this has done to the government's message or the "justification" this gives to those others who break the rules (as in those calling for fines to be repaid).

People really don't like to be told "don't do as I do, do what I tell you".

Maybe not dead, but it's taken a punch.
Police officer says people are using Dominic Cummings' behaviour as excuse to breach lockdown rules

Very clever the way they designed that.
