The real question is - Why would anyone willingly visit Barnard castle?

Following Boris' statement yesterday, that the lockdown ended weeks ago, let's see what the real prime minister has to say later today...

BBC: Dominic Cummings to make statement on lockdown allegations
I'll be tuning in.

He should go, then the country could move on, better off without him.

His talent is selling lies, we don't need that.

the country could move on. simple as that. the determination not so to do says more about those with that determination than it does about Cummings/Johnson/anyone else.

Dominic Cummings say he "behaved reasonably".

I have nothing against Dominic Cummings but at the very best it looks bad to be telling the public one thing and doing the exact opposite. At the very worst the word that comes to mind is hypocrisy.

Yep, this checks out, definitely the best place to take your family on your wife's birthday, if you need an eye test at the height of lock-down in the middle of a pandemic and you're only 30 miles drive away...

This is the issue, planteria. You might be happy to be lead by liars who ignore the rules they create, but many of us are not.

Many MP's and Councillors were begging 2nd home owners not to come to them. The fear was they would come from the London virus hotspot and bring the virus with them unknowingly.

We were told if you have the virus, sleep in a different room if you can, sit in a different room if you can, use a different room if you can.

Cummings knew his wife had it, knew he might have it. So he decamps to County Durham. He even subjects his young son to a long drive in a car with at least one person suffering from the virus.

And we are asked to believe that he did not stop on the journey? How strong are the bladders of the Cummings family? Has anyone else had a 4 year old child who did not need to stop and relieve their bladder? I bet nobody could say yes to that one.
Keep smiling because the light at the end of someone's tunnel may be you, Ron Cheneler
