As there are three woman contenders and only one is non white. it is highly likely at this stage there will not be a choice to do otherwise. It looks but is no means certain as if they will have a choice of either male or female.

An unnecessary remark IMO

Former equalities minister Kemi Badenoch has been knocked out of the Tory leadership race
She came last in the latest round of voting by Conservative MPs with 59 votes
Ex-chancellor Rishi Sunak wins the fourth round with 118 votes, three more than last time
Trade minister Penny Mordaunt is second with 92 votes, gaining 10 votes since yesterday
Although Foreign Secretary Liz Truss came third with 86 votes, she gained 15 votes - more than any other candidate - and is closing in on Mordaunt

This is like one of those slowly evolving nightmares, each turn is worse than the last. We now see a choice between two liars and an idiot.
Just because I'm paranoid, it doesn't mean they're not out to get me

I mean Sunak will be on the ballot paper but the membership will not vote for him because:

a) he resigned and it ended up with our beloved Boris being forced out

b) he is not white

Supposedly, Truss is considering Coffey as Home Secretary as a reward for her loyalty........

I have heard of the blind leading the blind, but we may soon see an exemplar as Government.

To misquote Dickens (who knew a thing or two about happenstance...) "God help us every one....."
