Lá fhéile Pádraig sona dhaoibh!

Amongst the news of war and financial worries, at least there has been some good news and Gabriella Ratcliffe has her mother back at last.

It's that time of year and whilst my options for celebrating are somewhat reduced this year, celebrate I will!

2 people freed from Iran and one freed from prison but not yet home. One woman with a small child, the other 2 men. The daughter of the freed man said how hard it was to get anyone to get involved but they were fighting just as hard.

Sad isn't it that an older man with grown up children is off no interest to the media but a pretty woman with a small child can easily get coverage.

But we have plenty to celebrate on St Paddy's day and every day. And plenty to weep about and often hang our heads in shame at what our Govt. does in our name
Keep smiling because the light at the end of someone's tunnel may be you, Ron Cheneler
