I was surprised that nobody chose to mark the passing of Terry Wogan's favourite actress-singer Olivia Newton-John at the relatively tender age of 73 and from the cancer she battled on and off since 1993.
Although British turned Australian, she lived in the USA most of her life.... pehaps life would have been different had she married her long-term fiancee Bruce Welch of the Shadows.....
All in all she serves as a warning to all of us that have "survived" cancer..... she had three bouts and the final one metastasized to her spine and proved terminal.
