It will be interesting to see if they get a bounce because of the war effect. Personally I doubt it. Labour 44% and Cons 26% on 7th January. Worryingly. Reform is doing well at 10%, although they in theory will have a negative effect to the Cons and be an advantage to Labour. But the world is topsy turvey nowadays and no one really knows

What always makes my blood boil are comments like this from Ministers:
The people voted for us to .... No, roughly 1/3rd of those who actually voted put you into power.
The people voted for us to send illegal immigrants to Rwanda even if that means sidestepping the courts and International Law. What about all the people who say "not in my name"?

It wasn't in the manifesto. The policy didn't even exist at the time of the general election, it was originally a silly idea they dreamed up and announced to distract from the partygate scandal.
Yet the worst headbangers latched onto it, tried to make it actually happen and two years later here we are...
