In the 1940's a Chancellor mentioned something to a newspaper reporter as he went into the chamber. It was in the paper on the streets as fast as the presses could roll. They know they are doomed - but they haven't finished salting the earth yet. Fact or speculation? who knows? But I just wish they would clear out and go to the other side of the Commons. It seems clear to me they are a spent force. They seem to think that tax cuts will be the saviour. Truth could not be farther away, they are really so out of touch.
I cannot believe that people do not see through them. I will be gutted if they do get in again. Am I misreading it all?
