I would reopen the claim and explain that you did not use any other site. imutual should then take it up with the merchant. if the claim still comes back as rejected then you should appeal to the membership.

Did you get a quote from any other site prior to 29th September and not clear cookies between using that site and imutual?

The advantage of imutual is that you can have a dialogue about your claim and know that it is being dealt with by a person rather than an automated reply and ignored messages

Your claim got updated with an old response (i.e. re: appeals, which have been superseded by the guarantee). Well be in touch tomorrow about the next step :)

Thanks Richard for the response, it is much appreciated.
I know I have no track record on your site as this was my first real transaction here.
I don't want to feel as if I have to come 'cap in hand' as to speak with respect to this claim,
I just expected it to be smooth going and PlusNet to be an honourable merchant, neither
of which at this time appear to be true.
I await further instructions from yourselves.

Just a quick note - I know Richard is quite busy right now, so if he hasn't got back to you yet please don't fret. He will do. We are a happy bunch here and everyone is confident in the system, so do hang in there :thumbup: . Sometimes when you are a small company there is a lot to get done and timescales can slip very quickly if urgent matters come along to deal with.

It does say you need to ask for the CBG
