Jimmy Montgomery (goal keeper in 1973) was asked how the cup winning side would do in a game against the current side
'I'd reckon we would win 1-0!'
'But that's not much of a scoreline?'
'Yeah, well we are all in our 70's now. :D

Massively disrespectful, utter rubbish talk, not even funny....

They would win at least 5-0.

Expresso is taking Leo for a walk in his pushchair(Leo's pushchair, not Expressos') when he bumps into mackem
'Good result for the Black cats on Saturday.' He says 'Do you think you will stay up?'
'Yeah I reckon so now.' says macky 'Moyes is a good manager, got some good players, 2 or 3 more wins and mid table obscurity beckons.'
'You're playing us on Saturday...do you think we will the league?'
Mackem gaze drops down and he replies 'I don't reckon you will win the league in your life time.'
''You cheeky monkey I'm only 39!' Lies espresso angrily.
Mackem looks up and says 'I was talking to Leo.'

This is actually a True story -

Kev neglected to mention the fact that they bumped into mackem in the pub!
Sometimes, if macky to drunk to walk home, which only happens on days which have 24 hrs in them they take him home in the pushchair. Leo once told me 'Granddad been sick down his shirt, uncle mackem won't let go of his bottle and everyone thinks I'm the baby :!:

Norwich City do not do things by half either. lose 5 games in a row in the Championship and then meet Brentford and hammer them 5 - 0.

5 goals from 5 different players
Keep smiling because the light at the end of someone's tunnel may be you, Ron Cheneler
