For those who are unsure, I am pleased to confirm that I have successfully signed up to the offer.

There is an "activation fee" of £0.99. You need to pay the fees via a debit/credit card.

Purely on the basis of mathematics, when paid the following will be true:
FREE SIM = £0.00
Delivery = £0.00
Activation Fee = £0.99

imutual Cashback = £10.50
imutual Shares = 100

Net Profit: £9.51 + 100 imutual Shares
Once paid the monies will be going into my imutual Cashback Investment Club fund.

Exactly. You pay 99p ("activation" fee) for the SIM and then go through the easy online process to downgrade to the Basic 200 package. Whether or not the cashback is paid is another thing...

Satellites? Really? Get back to your Currys PC World Technology News!

The only bit i'd agree with you on is the fact F.P. only use the data service offered via the mobile phone network, so voice calls are what is commonly known as voice over internet protocol.

I refer you both to this post(s) from earlier

That is correct.

I've had freedompop for a few months in a dual sim phone. Its not perfect but its free if you don't upgrade. I use it to make calls/texts but have my old number in reserve. It hasn't cost me a penny in phone calls since taking it as I'm not a great phone user anyway - prefer whatsapp. Also great for emergency or if you don't use too much online data on the phone (like me) but want to look something up when you're out and about. Usually use it via wifi so it doesn't eat up my data allowance.
The only cost to me for two sims was a £1 initial registration charge. WIfe uses the other, :thumbup:
Pity its too late to get cash back for me.

Why? No harm in ordering another SIM use a different CC and not using the SIM once it arrives.
