Definitely worth us putting some more in, especially if we fancy having funds to buy Lloyds or another share if the right opportunity is there. I'm pretty happy if we have another tranche of money sitting around for a number of weeks awaiting the right purchase. I don't see a problem with that at all.parchedpeas wrote:Is it worth a funding push to get some new money in for any potential Generel Election surprises?
Kevin's maths is pretty good! My calculation is the same result as his, on a basis of the Club being 32 months old. It is a skewed average though as we had different numbers of members per month and so forth. It also doesn't take into account the contributions made by past members, where we have already paid out their holdings. I think that amounted to about another £700, so it would be about 180/month taking that into account.parchedpeas wrote:Out of interest, what is the average amount added to club funds each month?
Maybe they are transferring all their available cashback balancepieman wrote: Just a thought, maybe its me - but i can't understand why there is never a round figure paid in
I mean why did somebody pay in the extra 8p (unless there were lots of people paying in odd amounts) - rather than a whole Pound ??
Or is that just my money based OCD ??
Because they are paying in their cashback and (maybe) have it automatically to transfer weekly. Cashback does not always come in round pounds.pieman wrote:Members have paid a further £135.08 into the club since 8 Apr, and these have been converted to units at the new price of £1.0875.

I'm like you - I only pay in even numbers but I guess that is kind of OCD in wanting to keep it neatpieman wrote:Members have paid a further £135.08 into the club since 8 Apr, and these have been converted to units at the new price of £1.0875.
