Share club valuation @ 6 Jan 2018

Here are the figures for the Cashback Investment Club's latest valuation, based on our investments and cash holdings as at 6 Jan

Since the last valuation on 9 Dec, the club's unit price has increased from £0.8132 to £0.8455, a change of 3.97%. See Unit price calculations

Members have paid a further £43.37 into the club since 9 Dec, and these have been converted to units at the new price of £0.8455. You can see a history of your own payments here

We currently have 16 members who have made 312 payments into the club totalling £6,133.93. The total value of our current assets is £5,313.26. Our list of our past investment decisions can be found here, and valuations of our current holdings (based on market mid-prices) can be viewed here

Our current cash holdings consist of £139.49 held in our Co-op bank account, + a further £7.91 held in our Share Centre dealing account.

Before the next valuation I wonder if it makes sense to move the Carillion shares from the 'current' holdings spreadsheet to the 'past investments' one? This will then zero of the share price and just show the dividend amounts we received. I personally think it will help us draw a line under this and also inform members of the exact position before putting any further funds into the club.
