Inclusion on the Open Register

Post by planteria » Sat Aug 25, 2018 7:46 pm

in order to obtain credit on good terms, it's accepted that it's important to be included on the Electoral Role. but what about inclusion on the Open Register? is there any downside to removing ourselves from the Open Register?

I think that credit companies can check the full register not just the public one

it is the Electoral and the Open registers..

having moved house in February, i was named on the Open Register. i won't be soon though .

it's not something i'd given any thought to in a long time, but i now understand that the open register is a list that can be accessed by PPI companies and others.
