There are a range of Railcards available offering discounts of around one third on most Standard and First Class fares. There are a selection of national Railcards which appeal to a wide variety of travellers. More information on the individual products of interest can be seen below:

16 – 25 Railcard

There’s every reason to be happy if you’re aged 16 to 25, because with this Railcard customers enjoy 1/3 off rail fares when they go by train. Users can also apply for one if they’re a mature student in full time study, as long as they’re eligible. It means customers can save money on trips into town, days out to the coast, or weekend festivals – as many times as they like.

The Railcard costs just £30. So after three or four trips, the card will have paid for itself. And over a year, an average saving of £179 could be made.

Family & Friends

You don’t need an excuse to spend time with your friends and family. But we’re going to give you one anyway. Because with a Family & Friends Railcard customers enjoy 1/3 off rail fares for up to 4 adults and 60% off for up to 4 kids between 5 and 15. Plus holders can have two adults named on one card, so when one cardholder isn’t using it, the other can.

It means cardholders can save money on trips to see the grandparents, days out to theme parks, or weekends by the seaside – as many times as they like.

The Railcard costs just £30. So after a couple of trips, the card will have paid for itself. And over a year, an average of £124 can be made.
