Is there a such thing as "good fortune" and "good luck"?

Post by AAAlphaThunder » Tue Oct 30, 2018 6:04 pm

I was thinking about this very question after what I did last night.

Is there a such thing as "good fortune" and "good luck"?

No
Neither is there Karma, curses or premonition

Just my opinion mind

Also I don't believe in Ghosts, Mediums, UFOs past lives, reincarnation, telekinesis crystals balls or tarot card reading fortune telling horoscopes or superstition

Its all nonsense! (Touch wood)
Politically incorrect since 69

you bought a lucky dip on the lottery and found the numbers were last Saturdays winning numbers , or you were walking past a block of flats and a TV just missed you because you had been stopped by a mugger ;)

There was a good programme on BBC Worldservice recently dealing with both superstition and this subject.

Retrospectively, both appear to exist, although any result is actually due to a particular pattern of events.

The problem is when people think they can project it into the future.......

But it's a brave man who chooses to to believe that something he has not experienced doesn't exist....

Johnny: I don't believe in ghosts!
Billy: But what about that film we saw.....
Johnny: Exactly, it was a film. I've never actually seen a ghost in real life.
..
..
..
Billy: I don't believe in China!

Yes, there is. As someone once said: "the harder I work, the luckier I become"

And with things like ill health it can be a matter of bad luck or it can be your fault. Take Diabetes, type one is pure bad luck, type two is probably your fault
Keep smiling because the light at the end of someone's tunnel may be you, Ron Cheneler
