I thought we set sales parameters for this one already in a poll?

Why would you even consider selling a share because it has made £100. Better to let the parameters kick in and even possibly revise them if the feeling is that it has the potential to go up further. Selling for the sake of selling and to create activity is never a good idea.

We're always in a rush to sell our winners while we drag our feet on holding our losers.

Did we ever get around to working on a new system for running the club and deciding winners and losers? Might be worth turning our attention to this for 2019.

I consider the two posts above this to be worthy winners of post of the month and hope club members think on them.

Luckily for imutual we have somewhat more members of the site than those choosing to get involved in the (fabulous I'm sure) investment club. Maybe for the 12 or so CIC members left the two posts are of great value and in all honesty I think they are worthy posts, but not POTM material.

The investment club isn't fabulous, however the lovely ladies at imutual are scrumptiously fabulous.

Until you actually do something the share is not a loss or profit (Carillion showing the absolute worst of doing nothing) this is not an action for action's sake, currently, the share is in a decent profit so it at the very least worthy of a discussion.

As this whole thread is about discussion, rather than a poll. I thought that was what I was doing. Just adding and contributing to the discussion. If you thought otherwise, then I am sorry but you misread my post.
