i'm curious.
i'm a member of The Oddfellows since they absorbed The Druids Sheffield Friendly Society.... so i'm now a member of the catchily titled The Independent Order of Oddfellows Manchester Unity Friendly Society Limited

. i'm not sure what i will continue with membership when my product matures though..
and i've been invited to join another Order of Oddfellows, so just wondered who here may be aboard.

yes, lots of pubs around the country are called The Oddfellows, or variations thereof, as they were named after the Oddfellows lodges that held their meetings there.
and always looking for opportunities pab

Keep smiling because the light at the end of someone's tunnel may be you, Ron Cheneler

Indeed I am .. Unity Mutual (renamed from Manchester Oddfellows) .. still have policies with former Sheffield Druids.
Also .. on a tiny scale .. member of Grand United Order Oddfellows.
Not many Friendly Societies left now

yes pp, as a fellow former Druid i have a little plan with The Oddfellows: Unity Mutual that will mature in a few years. i'm not sure what would happen to the proceeds if we don't cash in, perhaps an offer to convert into a bond [-i see min £1k investment]? when they took over Druids it was difficult to even find their financial products online, but now they've rebranded they are easy enough to find and understand.
tell me more about Grand United Order of Oddfellows [GUOOFS] pp..
