Sorry to say the tube cleaning trains have long since been scrapped but interesting to hear from the then tube management that ferrous dust along with skin and hair builds up in the tube tunnels at 1/8th inch per year (yuck!). Don't breath deep if you travel on the London Tube!

This is your second attempt to raise this issue - and it didn't work last time either.

Tell your investment club to start investing in full face gas masks - a lot of tube passengers and workmen are going to need them fairly soon and the demand will push share prices up!!!

Additionally don't you think highlighting the link behind raising taxes behind the excuse of clean air requirements and the lack of any action by the same people inventing these new taxes where money has to be spent on clean air is relevant and should be highlighted? These same tax raisers could be coming to your town soon...

What follows is further clarification of the introduction of the Ultra Low Emissions Zone (ULEZ) in London which it is planned to expand from the centre in stages (the London Mayor has spoken about expanding it to the M25) so those attempting to travel there or through there please be aware of future pending charges. For those who just think "this won't effect me" please read this quote from the article: "Despite ULEZ only affecting London, there’s nothing to stop something similar happening across the UK. In fact, some councils are already planning their own emissions-based charges. With this in mind, cars not meeting the stricter emissions standards may experience a large drop in resale value."

If you live in the zone or travel through it be aware of pending changes: https://www.petrolprices.com/news/ulez- ... 12-50-day/

Yes, but there must be swimming pools within the M25, so you could dive if you wanted to. Not that I want to. I don't trust water. It has sharks in it. Maybe not in swimming pools, but you can never be 100% sure.
