Wrong yet again. Long, because you pressed for it to happen immediately after the 8 million competition. There should have been a much longer gap.
Mmm... I think that is more fake news! Can you prove that? I don't recall doing that other that promoting the competition and Kev's efforts..
I don't need to prove anything to you.
There you go - the earliest mention of 9M Comp and not by me, I was suggesting that it be started nearer to the likely completion date and at this point the winnings for the 8M Comp hadn't even been claimed. The following thread is from the last days of the 8M thread and seems to suggest that your protestations that I was to "blame" for the early start of the 9M Comp.

Perhaps it would be best to start it nearer the anticipated date and after this competition winnings has been claimed..! ;)
Whilst I admit to supporting the 9M Comp once it was launched I was far from the one who pressed for it to immediately start at the end of the 8M Comp - your report and accusations comes under the heading of false news!

I have noticed how things get twisted on here by certain members over time trying to create a "new truth" and this is a great example.

As I said previously, I do not need to prove anything to you, and to be perfectly frank am tired of your petty games.

Not petty - I am justified in defending my position; you said I had done something that I have proven I am not resposible for... You might have been confused and thought it was me but your statement is still wrong and I was pointing that out to you. It may not be intended by you to twist the truth and I can accept that people make mistakes but far too many other people on here seem to intentionally twist things and I approached this on that basis.

For G-d's sake Blythburgh don't do that!

You request the start of the new competition and I get hounded for it!!!

Joking aside Kev, great competition but how about starting the 10Million Comp at about the 9.5m mark and having a cut off point for late entries so members don't leave it until the last week to enter, existing entries can re-enter if their date is surpassed as previous rules. More importantly; how are your bargaining skills? Can you have a word with Richard about beefing up the prizes???

Well done to Expresso and Kev but most of all well done to iMutual for achieving a great milestone!

Yes, well done Expressman33. Glad to see this really worthwhile competition can finally be put to rest. As for the "great milestone", haven't you noticed how much further these milestones seem to be taking?
