i move the money from 1>2>3>4>5>6>7>8>9>1 on the same day pab. i don't really think i can spread it out over a period of days and for it to work. i don't want to miss any DDs. hopefully i can just do it in Africa as i usually do.

at the start of each month i do a 'round robin', transferring funds between my current accounts to qualify for rates/bonuses. in a couple of months i will be away in Africa when i need to do this. are UK banks likely to allow me to log in to access my accounts, as long as i have cards/cardreaders/passwords as usual?
are you away for the full month , if not do them at the end of the month when you return

Still inform your bank before leaving.

do the transfers a couple of days before you go, then do them again when you return . If it is from 1>2>3>4>5>6>7>8>9>1 on the same day, then it shouldn't matter if you do them twice in a certain period

I don't know the finer details but your solution looks like a good workaround.
