You could say that of any campaign you disagree with. Or for that matter any expenditure on anything.
I think there is a wider point here - how are people with significant public influence held to account when they lie and deceive? Especially on a matter as important as this. I agree with Mr Joseph that Nigel Farage should also be up there in court (as should some newspaper editors).

Just because I'm paranoid, it doesn't mean they're not out to get me

If every MP that lied was taken to court there would be very few MP's ( if any ) left
its a private prosecution and was crowdfunded to the tune of about £20.000.
£200,000
Well done to those who studied law.

Labour justice:
Alastair Campbell says he is voting LibDem on a one off basis and is kicked out of the party.
A man who stands for election representing a far left group against Tony Benn's granddaughter (the official Labour Candidate) is suspended and later let back as a member.

What else do you expect from someone with the mental and educational age of less than 5?

I know people like doing these poster campaigns and court cases, but why not give that money to charity instead?
Because there wasn't a charity trying to make him accountable for his actions.

Swings and roundabouts the centrists and the right-wingers in the party in 2016 in an attempt to oust Corbyn in an election by purging alot of members for the most trivial of things i.e retweeting a green party tweet, funny tho that nobody in the media said much about it but now its a big deal when its done to someone who is not a lefty

There are many great political campaigns to spend things on - even pro-EU ones. But this publicity stunt court case by a slightly dodgy man is a waste of money for those who contributed to the crowndfunding campaign.
