But it shows we will not take any nonsense from Johnny Foreigner, especially those in EU
.... or it's a bit of tendacious posturing by the SNP designed to embarass the UK in its discussions with the EU. As if the snappies would do such a thing....

I'm not sure that foreign policy is a devolved matter, so apart from whingeing it's hard to see what they can do. The claim to Rockall is based on a 1955 UK landing....... but this claim is disputed and has never been established in international law..... so, it's sabre-rattling by a government that has no sabre!
I love the way action is supported "under UK law....." - because that's rather the point, UK law doesn't apply.
Foreign policy is a reserved matter, but fisheries is a devolved matter.

Do you mean tendentious? Never mind, it's certainly posturing.Whether or not it's embarrassing to the UK government I do not know. I believe that fisheries is an issue deferred until the second phase of Brexit negotiations. Which may not happen, depending on events.

Wouldn’t we all just live to see Wee Nicky asking Boris to send up some Navy frigates to help
I’d vote for that

I'm sure Boris would oblige and delightfully announce "Naval Task Force Boris to the rescue".
