Puppy was delivered today. The postie threw him over the gate into my back garden; which is unlucky as I'm monitoring 'doorstepped' items for Royal Mail this week, so I was required to report it!
When I did mystery shopping I made sure I was fair to the staff and to the firm. If the staff member did not say "have a nice day" or whatever I ticked it off as done if said to someone in front of me or I left feeling I had received good service.
But when I did a car survey I really went to town and gave the salesman a really bad write up. It was for Volkswagen not the garage so I do not think they were happy. I was "buying" a top end car from the VW/Audi garage, I tried to get the salesman to tell me things like mph and 0 to 60 in x seconds. All I could get was heated seats and electric windows. I could feel him tapping me on the head and saying "some back with a man, we know women only care about the colour".
Worse was to come at the 2nd garage owned by same group. One salesman who was with a customer. We both went this time and we were looking at cars and saying in a loud voice that this was the one we were going to buy. In front of the cars we were looking at was a man sitting doing nothing as he was only involved in repairs etc. No smile, no my colleague will be with you shortly. Then a young couple came in and shortly after the saleman was free. Totally ignored us and went to the young couple. We walked out leaving the young couple to look shocked as they had heard we were going to buy a specific car.
Oh boy did I enjoy putting in my reports. And, yes, I got paid for the 2nd job
Keep smiling because the light at the end of someone's tunnel may be you, Ron Cheneler
