Very helpfully, the Telegraph has put together a compilation of all the times Labour have called for a general election over the last year. Obviously they’ve u-turned now Boris has called their bluff – it’s just embarrassing they left such a history of receipts…

Your link is to the Right Wing Brexit supporting comic Guido Fawkes who have ripped off the article from the Telegraph. Labour have not U-turned and are quite clear they do still want an election. But as it stands at the moment are not prepared to countenance one until such time that there is no way that Boris Johnson is able to welsh on the bill that is going through the House of Lords and is due to become law on Monday. They may or may not agree to the repeat request he is due to make on Monday evening depending on the wording and timing of the proposed general election.

I do not see that as a u-turn but as an opposition doing their job and ensuring as best as they are able to ensure that the UK does not crash out of Europe without a deal.

The problem with the "£350m for the NHS" is not that it won't be delivered until after we leave.
The problem is that it was a total fabrication: there is no £350m. It won't magically appear after Brexit.

The problem is no matter how much extra funding the NHS gets , it will never be enough.

already promised Year-by-year funding increases
2019-20 - 3.6%
2020 - 21 - 3.6%
2021-22 - 3.1%
2022-23 - 3.1%
2023-24 - 3.4%
All figures are above inflation
