Best SIM for Foreign visitors

Post by pieman » Sat Sep 07 2019 7:40pm

Hi,

I have some Australian relatives who have come over for a visit - unfortunately one has ended up in hospital 400 miles from us and so they are having to extend their stay.

As they are so far away, and with one being in hospital - we want to talk to them for updates, however....

they are still using their Australian phone and Sim and therefore our phones and theirs think we are calling overseas.

Any suggestions as to what is the best UK sim for them to get, which will reach them quickly and be able to be finished with once they go back?

Thanks

CPW currently have Nokia 105 for free with £10 EE top-up. £5 cashback here/TCB, free next day delivery.

If you don't want the handset, CEX will give you £11 for it.

I got a dumb phone for £13 in Tesco with a £10 top up so cost me £3. Nice and small to carry around in a pocket when out.

The old Nokia phones are a masterpiece of engineering.
