I don't know if TV interviews are realistic but I'll certainly try to generate some PR around this as the time approaches
Great News Richard and I'm sure most members would thank you for those words and promised actions!

But Hey! why so down!?! When Pick My Postcode (Free Postcode Lottery) Director Chris had a milestone to celebrate he made sure he was on being interviewed on every money/financial program on radio and the TV on BBC etc. as well as national press articles in the Sundays etc. so now reason iMutuals for coming milestone can't be shared in the same way...
Chris gets in because he has the right contacts.

The right contacts or the right effort to promote and market the company?

Or perhaps the right skills.

The evidence suggests that whilst Richard may be skilled as a coder/website builder, marketing and PR are not his strong point.

Key point from this thread is - viewtopic.php?f=36&t=87725&sid=0ff4d272 ... 0&start=30

"What's also clear from the past is that our "product" isn't right; that is, the site is very poor at converting visitors to active users and we need to address that first before committing precious resources to social media campaigns or trying to form promotional partnerships. Fix the hole in the bucket rather than just trying to pour in more water"

Above has same meaning as viewtopic.php?f=34&t=83124&sid=60e7cdcc ... 30#p241126

"To join and do what when as time goes by seemingly more and more suggestions for merchants that are on Quidco and TCB get the response viewtopic.php?f=3&t=85615&start=150#p240780 "Can't get this one"

Perhaps Richards next response on this thread could either be to indicate ideas about how this will be addressed, whats the point thinking about PR/marketings when already know what has been quoted in first paragraph, no good saying will address problem of merchants that Imutual cannot get many of which are large popular company offers as that was said when site was previously getting a makeover/re-colouring.

Suggestions from well-intentioned members are largely stonewalled or ignored.

Genuine expressions of concern about the future of IM are also ignored or brushed aside.

The current transaction rate probably means that income is barely covering costs - if that.

I am losing interest.

If there is no visible changes the path to a Zombie Company (basically insolvent where overheads outstrip income) is sustainable for some reasonable time before staffing changes, cutting overheads etc. is required and at that point without substantial loans the company is basically dead or an expensive hobby!

The nice little earner with minimum input becomes a nightmare.

Best that action for positive change is taken sooner rather than later... time is short, a year or more.

Average daily transaction rate is down to around 600 when only weeks ago it was around 3,500 and not that long ago it was 5,000 I don't need to tell anyone that is a dramatic drop in figures and income, no doubt.

Perhaps now the realisation has hit that changes should have been taken out earlier. The term "make hay while the sun shines" comes to mind.

So what is the best way to tackle things now?

I would imagine that most of the missing hits come from the recurring clicks that are MIA and every penny earned from them went straight to the clickers like me. Very little is made from almost all the free clicks we do daily as far as I know
