It is as much a smear as your cheap retaliation in support of the EU turning a blind eye...!
Does the phrase "Ad Hominem" mean anything to you? Allow me to give you a list of the others you might try https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_fallacies - I think this attempt to disparage my arguments is the Traitorous Critic fallacy, but I'm no expert - it's just one of the many you can use when your claims are challenged.

To put it plainly, your assertion that the EU is responsible for the situation is false, your intimation that it is something that the EU wants is absolutely false - and the article you quote merely describes the corrupt state of affairs in those countries. Therefore, it is a smear.

Once again your argument falls down because you claim I say things I didn't; I said the EU is supporting the situation by turning a blind eye and continuing to finance it - I didn't say it is "responsible" for it and adding your own intimations merely clouds and corrupts your argument but thankfully not to the degree as the issues on mainland Europe! https://www.msn.com/en-gb/news/world/th ... spartanntp

Wriggle all you like, I am not the one trying to unsay thing!!

Please don't try to play the semantics game with me - you said, "the EU takes areas of Europe back to feudal times" which intimates that it is the EU's actions that are responsible.

You did not say "the EU supports independent governments who are taking their states back to feudal times" - you deliberately conflated support (and even that's dubious) with activity and also tried to generalize the activities across "Europe", rather than being confined to certain ex-communist states, in order to support your bias.

It didn't work.

Not wriggling, no need to; it's pretty black and white that the EU have turned a blind eye and are letting this happen and continue to support it by financing it: https://www.msn.com/en-gb/news/world/th ... spartanntp

It's no use. Brexit is a religion now; the facts and evidence don't reach believers.

Interesting. Who's the Troll? I'm just making members aware of things they were perhaps unaware of earlier and not backing down to some who would like to twist that to mean something else...

Interesting that you should highlight this article.

Populist right-wing politicians exploiting the system.

Ring any bells there?
