Sorry have to dash, just got back from The Lord Mayors Show now off to the QPR match to see Boro!

By the way its not called a chicken parmo it's just called a Parmo. It has a long history in the NE and arrived with the US Troops during WWII but had typical NE adaptation... Mmmm the taste of home!!!!

Yes, it is calorific but with all food everything is OK in moderation and you remember to eat less calories the rest of the day or even week to counteract the calories in the parmo etc. And it is also not what you eat but how much of it you eat.

Another original from Boro: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-50352002
I was not going to mention this as I am not a fan of any comedian who is "racist, sexist and highly offensive" and most importantly I do not live in Middlesbrough (but I do know there is only one o in the spelling)

Yes, Middlesbrough's spelling is not constructed in the same manner as say Peterborough! No doubt one of the questions for the on-line competitions in the future...

It is not alone in being a trap for people. Norfolk is notorious for spelling one way and pronouncing another.

Bishop Graham mark 2 (last one was also a Graham but thankfully the surnames are different) said before his enthronement that he was learning how to pronouce names and can say Happisburgh correctly now. Whether is can also say Costessey and Postwick yet I have no idea. And those are just 3 place names ready to trap the visitor
