Yes, nice to have a settled government and the DUP out of the way.
Hardly any competition though. At last the Labour party can celebrate Jeremy finally giving up.

Some people just don't know when to quit.

If he really cared for the party and the country then he would have stepped down in June 2016 when the majority of the shadow cabinet quit in an attempt to force him out. Instead he dug in and hung on for two inevitable defeats at the ballot box; in the end Brexit is the price the UK is having to pay to get rid of him.

That said, critics fearing a Labour majority were ignoring the negative signs and being too optimistic about their chances - in practice this General Election was really more about Johnson vs hung parliament than Johnson vs Corbyn.

Changing the leader is like moving the deckchairs on The Titanic after it hit the iceberg. Whilst the hard left is in charge and especially whilst MacDonald is there Labour do not stand a chance. And some of those who could have pulled the party in the right direction quit making a bad situation worse. They should have stayed and fought for their party. And so should the Tory MP's who quit or were forced out not to be given the chance to go back into the party.

So the election is over and sense has prevailed. I assume all those remoaners, left-wingers and divisive elements will now accept the will of the people and not ask for a second election vote as the people didn't understand the facts...!?!

Its over, yet you continue to try and divide and wind up people. Move on and get a life.

Ho, ho, ho, your comments are always festive and in this festive election period they are correct in only one point - it is all over! Its all over for those dissidents, remoaners and divisive elements etc. so they can crawl back into the woodwork and that will give you time to scramble in the hopes of getting a life as well...!

Oh happy times!!!
